NESMA

The Victorian Chapter of the National Electrical Switchboard Manufacturers Association, NESMA (Vic Chapter), is a body that represents as part of a National organisation, the interest of the electrical switchboard manufacturing industry.

NESMA will be available to engineers, specifiers, and others to provide unbiased independent, technical and pricing information to its members. The intention of NESMA is to provide a point of contact for all parts of our client base in the low voltage power distribution industry. This includes Government, statuary bodies, Standards Australia, electricity retailers, Office of Energy Safe Victoria, Installation and Services Rules Committee, NECA and Distribution equipment suppliers and manufacturers.

NESMA will continue to focus on service to our industry and will extend our participation beyond the above-mentioned organizations.

NESMA will continue to foster the interests of the members of NESMA and to provide a capacity to supply the most significant component of this State's switchboard product which is based upon competitive pricing and technical service. NESMA's member's value add to standard products in the technical design of systems in respect of discrimination, grading, maintenance, and OH and S considerations.

NESMA is working with the ETU to implement a fair EBA for all switchboard manufacturers in Victoria. This should receive the support of all switchboard manufacturers, and suppliers.
